The St Andrews Green Film Festival is held on the weekend of the 22-24 November 2013.
The festival showcases inspiring feature films regarding the environment, ecology & climate change and tells the story of the inspiring work done by countless organisations & individuals as they work towards a sustainable future for our planet.
We have seven inspiring feature films (and several short films) over the festival weekend with a PREMIERE Screenings for each evening (where the film makers themselves will be on hand to present the film and Q&A afterwards). We also have some exciting guest speaker talks & workshops during the day on Saturday and Sunday on a variety of environmental themes.
The St Andrews Green Film Festival is run by Transition University of St Andrews- an environmental non-profit organisation based in St Andrews, Fife. Our aim for the festival is to inspire people to engage with the current issues regarding the environment, to be inspired to change how they think, and to act and get involved locally in (community) action which addresses these issues.
